Skiing was the reason I first came to Colorado. It stands to reason that from a very young age, someone born and raised in South Florida would be fascinated with mountains and snow. Once here, I was drawn to the beauty and wild places throughout Colorado. By 1980 I was establishing a new home in the Vail Valley. My background in education, BS from the University of Florida and 13 years teaching at Coral Gables Senior High and Ransom- Everglades School, gave me the adaptability to become established in my new community. I taught skiing on Vail Mountain for over twenty-five years, worked as a marketing manager for Vail Resorts, was a Bookstore shop owner in Beaver Creek and real estate broker. April, 2003 I moved to Ridgway. I love the wide-open spaces, unmatched beauty, serenity and the starry skies on inky, black nights. The common tread for my professional experiences has been guiding people to get the most from life’s adventures whether it is skiing, enjoying the back country of Colorado or buying and selling real estate. It is all a learning process. The last 37 years I have been living a dream, working and enjoying life in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The reality of life has far exceeded my early expectations. You might be wondering, “What makes him tick?” Todd was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the second son of a United Church of Christ Minister and an Elementary School Teacher. After two successful pastorates in the St. Louis area, Todd’s parents moved the family to Rochester, Minnesota, where his dad took on a ministry that lasted 32 years and his mom taught school. Todd graduated from John Marshall High School there, and graduated with honors from Mankato State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a Mathematics Concentration. The mountains of Colorado have always had a pull on him, and Todd and his wife Darlene(also a teacher) left Minnesota immediately after college for their first teaching positions-at a one room schoolhouse in Browns Park, Colorado(West of Craig). Todd taught mostly middle school mathematics in Colorado and Wisconsin for another eighteen years, and enjoyed the opportunity to help Middle Schoolers succeed in the classroom as well as in extracurricular activities. He was a middle school coordinator, coached football and basketball, and led many academic teams such as MATHCOUNTS and Science Olympiad. Todd and Darlene had three daughters, Emily, Anna and Laura and they spent their family times camping, traveling, off-roading, and skiing in the area. Todd entered real estate in 2002 with the plan to be only part time, but the real estate opportunities became great. He immediately loved working with United Country’s team of over 500 offices. Initially he worked under another United Country broker, but after a series of years where he earned top ten status among all United Country agents nationwide, purchased his office in 2007 and renamed it Sneffels Realty after the 14,000 foot peak that is the primary focus of our valley. The success of his office has continued to grow, and he has built Sneffels Realty into the top producing Ouray County office each year since 2011. He is so thankful for his success, which continues to grow and is extremely grateful for his many blessings, which include his faith, family, friends, clients and teammates. He knows that it’s essential to give back to his community and has been active in professional, church, and community organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Montrose Association of Realtors, and assists other United Country offices and agents throughout Western Colorado. He volunteers much of his time, and assists his church through donations, committee work and speaking, and has served on Church Council as Moderator. Additionally, he donates and helps with local schools, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, Educational and Arts organizations, the Better Business Bureau, and the Ridgway Chamber of Commerce. Todd’s attention gets distracted at times by his four grandsons, Paxton, Slade, Corbin and Ryker, as well as Darlene, his daughters and the rest of his family. But not for too long! My Personal Commitment to You

Originally from South Florida, I moved to Ridgway in Ouray County, Colorado in 1995. I had been visiting relatives and vacationing in this southwestern Colorado area during summers for more than 25 years, before moving here permanently. I love the inspiring mountains, the beautiful terrain, the freedom of the western states, the wonderful, warm and hospitable people of the Western Slope and the quality of life that surrounds our families.

I find that the most gratifying part of my Real Estate practice in Southwest Colorado is the opportunity to help my clients fulfill their dreams. Most often, my clients’ dreams focus on locating that new home, second home, a vacant lot on which to build their home for future retirement, and sometimes a small-to-large farm or ranch land. However, many of my recent clients have capital to invest in income-producing property or development projects. I really enjoy putting together commercial ventures with land owners, investors and builders, and then facilitating much of the project. I feel equally at home finding the right opportunity for my clients in any of these areas. I pride myself on providing much more than just a listing and showing service. Many previous clients tell me; that it was because of my own business background and community development efforts, coupled with the local, regional and state boards that I formerly or currently serve on, plus my real estate industry knowledge in Ouray County, that gives me the background, experience and ability to get the job done for them. About Judi

Judi is originally from Fort. Lauderdale, Florida, where she was the owner and director of Master Schools (proprietary-post secondary-vocational-hospitality schools) in South Florida from 1979-1995. She was also a licensed real estate broker in Florida from 1984-1995. In 1998, she became a Broker Associate in Colorado. She has an Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami, and has completed graduate level work at FIorida International University, Miami, and Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Judi acquired her Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) National Real Estate designation in August 2004 & her Accredited Buyers representative (ABR) in 2006 and the Risk reduction Specialist RRS in 2007. She currently owns a home in Dallas Meadows, just outside of Ridgway. Her son Nick (see first photo, sitting on Inspiration Point-Loghill, Ridgway) completed Culinary School at Johnson & Wales University –Denver Campus in May of 2007 and is working as a chef in the Telluride area.
Judi has successfully written grants and enjoys coordinating community events. Her interests include horseback riding and 4-x-4ing and traveling in the Four Comers area of southwestern Colorado whenever possible.

In Judi’s first venture in Ridgway and Ouray County, she developed, designed and operated a popular hospitality business, the White Horse (a western “Cheer’s” style tavern) for four years.  She also has been actively involved in the community. She has written three successful grant proposals for the local school and library districts, served as Ridgway School-to-Career coordinator (business and education community development), and was chairperson of the Accountability Committee for the Ridgway School District. She was appointed by the Ouray County Board of Commissioners to represent business in Ouray County. Judi also chairs the Youth Council for six counties under the Work Force Investment Act, and is the Youth Co-Chair for the State Rural Consortium.

A native of beautiful Ouray Colorado, and currently residing in adventurous Fruita Colorado, Anna has a unique understanding of the Western Slope.
